Contract Logistics
Our 50,000 sq ft facility is ideally situated in Dublin 12, a short distance from the M50 motorway.
The facility is divided into 2 compartments
- general raw material goods
- secure area for high value goods
We use the warehouse management system Visual FoxPro, a graphical user-interfaced application designed to allow a customer to track the progress of all goods from time of ordering to date of delivery. The system offers
- Lot/batch number tracking
- Expiry date tracking
- Stock control
- POD Scanning
Our warehousing is equipped with the latest in narrow-aisle racking, using “Man-aloft” turret trucks, backed-up by counter-balanced electric and diesel forklifts for quick and accurate storage and retrieval of pallets.
Security
Rhenus Logistics operates fully-secure warehousing. All areas are covered by CCTV in addition to fire detection and intruder alarms throughout our premises, all of which are monitored offsite on a 24 hour basis.
Track & Trace
Our Track & Trace system provides you with the current status of your consignment. Using various search criteria - date, consignment number or customer name - you can quickly find out where your freight is, at any time. The system can also provide you with a delivery slip.
In addition, if required, we can provide warehouse data - stock movements including batch tracking, stock information on articles, delivery slips and delivery receipts.
