Mai 2006
IHG has been acquired by Rhenus. This merger is a historic step for the two sides. We have succeeded in uniting two efficient companies with proven standards of quality and a good performance in the marketplace into a provider of full services.The take-over gives Rhenus a European network for land transport, extends its world-wide freight services, adds warehousing sites across the continent and thus makes Rhenus a provider of integrated logistics services in Europe

Company name of the spanish company HAMANN International is changed into IHG Logistics Ibérica, S.A.
2005
- IHG acquires 70% of the British logistics provider Hauser Limited, Manchester
- Foundation of System Alliance Europe
2004
- Acquisition of the remaining shares in Gottardo Ruffoni Rondine. The company names of foreign subsidiaries in Prag, Brno, Bratislava, Dublin and Sofia are changed into IHG Logistics
- The IHG acquires the Spanish logistics provider Tetrans, S.A.
2003
- Revival Express acquires the forwarding company UAB Svoris in Lithuania. The company’s new name is from now on UAB Revival Svoris
- Acquisition of the Netherland logistics provider Wilmink Transport BV

Merger of the German companies to form IHG Logistics GmbH & Co. KG. Launch of the IHG umbrella brand
