Rhenus’ subsidiary Speed Handling Services acts as an independent and neutral intermediary for airfreight forwarding agents to airlines.

Speed buys large quantities of freight capacity from airline companies and sells them on in smaller quantities to forwarding agents. For many forwarding agents it is cheaper to book freight space via Speed than directly from the airline company, as Speed offers very competitive rates as a result of bulk purchase. Speed’s customers consist of about 750 forwarding agents worldwide.
